It is Celio's hope that if people see a few of these floating around, it will arouse the interest of IT managers. (You can't have an employee running around with a geekier toy that the IT staff, so escallation will perpetuate). And yes, I ordered one about 2 days ago, I just had to try it for myself. I actually picked one of these up at the LOOW price of $200 (which to your point.. i would NOT have paid a penny over). And I can't tell you the "wow" factor I get luging this thing around.. and today was my first full day with it. My wife and I both have WM smartphones (she has a blackjack, I have a tilt). The day I got it and brought it home... she confiscated it for about 2 hours and is begging me to buy her one. The only reason we haven't is that we tried to test it with her blackjack and we couldn't get the drivers downloaded.. if they fix it before Oct 31st.... it's as good is bought. While in the store shopping for a carrying case for my little treasure, i was stopped and asked by two reps what it was that I was carrying.. "Is it LINUX? Is that a WINDOWS machine?!?". I smartly pulled out my tilt and smiled. They were baffled. I can't WAIT until my meeting next Wednesday! And that too in a world of the iPhone, UMPCs (like you said) , Android etc. why should i buy this for $400 when i can get a UMPC and SYNC the darn thing with my smartphone using activesync ?! who cares if it has a cpu or not! wheres the business case?
