Netsol market-cap down to $17M – why is no one picking it up?

Come and get it! Netsol available for just $17M!
I threw out a hypothetical question a few months ago. At the time, Netsol had a greatly diminished $24M market cap and I was wondering why a private company like Systems Ltd. wouldn’t just buy Netsol, consolidate, streamline, take it private and grow the business. If I was casually wondering then, I’m keenly curious now! With the latest price declines that have hit NTWK, Netsol is valued at a mere $17M now. Let’s put that into perspective.
- Islamabad-based Mobilink Pakistan’s revenue is $1BN or, about 55 times Netsol’s entire worth
- Lahore-based IT group, DWP’s, has revenues (disclosed on their website – these aren’t the latest figures), of around $58M, or 3.5 times Netsol’s entire worth
- Lahore-based Systems Ltd.’s revenue is about $18-20M, or about 110% of Netsol’s entire worth
- Pakistani investor Akeel Karim Dhedi’s personal net worth is about $500M, or about 27 times Netsol’s entire worth.
And finally… - Pakistani businessman Mian Mansha’s personal net worth is about $4BN, or about 220 times Netsol’s entire worth
Why wouldn’t any of the above buy-out Netsol and be poised to grow when the market comes back in 2010?
