The last post was the 200th for this blog. It’s been an interesting ride. What’s for sure is that the blog has evolved in ways I didn’t imagine when I started it back in 2007. Many of you might be new readers, and others may have hung around for the ride since the very first post. No matter who you are or how long you’ve been reading TechLahore, today I want to share ten carefully selected pieces from article 101-200.

These are in no particular order (other than the fact that I like #7 the best!).

Congratulations techlahore, you’ve got a couple of centuries more to hit so stay put have been around for a while now but always preferred to stay as a low profile reader until the winsome number 7 crossed my eyes. It has done its part and here I write.
Firstly, thanks for the list, I just loved the ‘7th’ post . It was a walk through your childhood which somehow rekindled so many memories of my own. Although being born and living all my life in other parts of the world, away from my homeland, I always looked forward to our visits to Lahore in the three months summer vacations we had from school. ‘Baraf wala Gola’, ‘Khoyay wali Kulfi’ and the unforgettable ‘Cotton Candies’ in various shapes, all readily available at my Nani Ma’s doorstep twice a day was one of the many attractions we had to spend holidays in Pakistan. Other attraction was the ‘Tanga-Ride’:) (For me yes! It always was) Nana Abbu always got one especially arranged one for me whenever receiving us at the old airport located at almost a mile’s distance from my Nani Ma’s House which was and still is situated in the ‘Androon’ Lahore. Even today, 25 years down the lane, living in Lahore from the past 6years, my Nana Abbu still brings me goodies which I asked for when I was 6 or 7;biscuits securing the 1st place.
I guess the values inculcated in us back then were of the highest standards and that’s why we share the same association and sense of ownership for Pakistan, Lahore and our roots irrespective of the difference in our exposure/time spent in Pakistan; in which case you will be scoring far more points than I. With Pakistan we identify ourselves and for none other but Pakistan! Thanks again
