I have gone through your blog and it seems that you are a typical Pakistani who is quite insecure and negative when it comes to India, nothing new for a Pakistani though. I would suggest you to visit the new airports of Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai etc. and then draw your bizarre analysis. India is a huge country but still has better infrastructure than Pakistan. I have visited Lahore only, but I don’t think other big cities in Pakistan are any better. Saying that Pakistan is better than India in everything is a bit farfetched because that isn’t the reality my friend. You seem to be quite selective in things you want to about India but that doesn’t change the reality.
India – after China – is the only country which is building the highest numbers of highways right now. There is metro in Delhi, monorail being built in Mumbai, metro being built in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Pune. Don’t make a fool of yourself by comparing India with Pakistan because Pakistan’s look is quite gloomy and it is a country which is really not aspiring for development but rather focussing too much on destroying India, you are no different as your missions seems to be portraying a negative picture of India.

I have worked with Pakistani IT contractors and most of them are rich kids from landowning families in Pakistan with no aptitude for the software industry. They got to do an MS on papa’s money acquired through usury or from his lavish fauji pension and spend most of their free time raving on the internet how great Pakistan is. Oh well, lets see you walk the talk and generate total revenues as large as Infosys’ PAT. You don’t quite have the hardworking, goal oriented labour to field to take our south indians on (I am north Indian) in the knowledge industry. To be honest the Indian IT industry was a non starter without the south indians. Okay, coming back to the point, to succeed in IT you need maturity, process orientation, in group cohesion and hard work, raving will not do, or all you will produce is an army contractors not billion dollar companies.

As V. S. Naipaul, an expert on the history of the region put it in his book, “Beyond Belief: Islamic Excursions Among the Converted Peoples”

Rather than bringing peace and prosperity to Pakistan, Islam has been the source of its troubles. The article in Tanweer arrived at the conclusion that ‘Ilmaniyya’ was the answer; it was tried in India, and made it a success story. But how could Pakistan have adopted a secular model for its state, when its raison d’etre required the establishment of an Islamic polity?

In conclusion, back to Naipaul’s sober words from the Prologue of his book:

“Islam is in its origins an Arab religion. Everyone not an Arab who is a Muslim is a convert. Islam is not simply a matter of conscience or private belief. It makes imperial demands. A convert’s worldview alters. His holy places are in Arab lands; his language is Arabic. His idea of history alters. He rejects his own; he becomes, whether he likes it or not, a part of the Arab story. The convert has to turn away from everything that is his. The disturbance for societies is immense, and even after a thousand years can remain unresolved; the turning away has to be done again and again. People develop fantasies about who and what they are; and in the Islam of the converted countries there is an element of neurosis and nihilism. These countries can be easily set on the boil.” P. xi

I am not sure that why we are so concieted about which infrastructure is better. I have never visisted India so it will be unfair to make comments about it. I will accept without bias that we need to build a much better infrastructure. The number of highways needs to be quadrupled to correctly address the needs of the people. I think we need to bring in alot of resources to correctly address future needs. Bridges, Highways, Green Zones, Ship yards, Speed Trains, Subways etc etc need to built at a larger scale with alot more modernity.
Now to clarify one thing, which both Indians and Pakistanis need to realize that no country is looking towards us for infrastructure advise. It must be pretty bad in both countries becuause if you compare it to Dubai, Singapore, Sydney, and Hong Kong then we are way behind. I will certainly not state that infrastructure in Pakistan is better than any other country but we certainly should not be looking towards India for any advise.

Rohit, Gandhi was worse than Vlad the Impaler. He pretended to be peaceful but he was actually the reason why partition happened. He was a Hindu supremacist who insisted on imposing his world view on the muslims of India. Jinnah was actually a supporter of the Cabinet mission plan. It was the hindu supremacists in the Congress at the time who opposed it and thus made the partition inevitable. The blood of each and every person killed during 1947 – both hindu and muslim – is on the hands of these hindu supremacists.

And as for “feudal” Pakistani society, I suggest you worry more about the filth you have in India in the name of “caste”. There are millions of disenfranchised people in India – the “untouchables” – who have for millienia been considered subhuman in your society.

The world recognizes India’s potential? Do you mean that American recognizes India’s potential as a little guard dog that can help bark at China? If so, then yes, we agree. India is America’s dog but unfortunately it doesn’t realize that China is the real deal… China is the dragon and just like they kicked your rear end in 1962, they will easily and readily do so again.

Finally, for some reason Indian’s have recently started chanting the “Pakistan is a small country” “Pakistan is unimportant” mantra just to feel better about themselves and their overcrowded slum infested country. Pakistan is the world’s 6th most populous country, it’s per-capita income has been higher than India’s for the past 63 years, it has 1/7th the population of India and has yet been India’s obsession… and it has the ability at anytime to undo India entirely. I know this is hard for you to digest, but tough. It is the truth. You should get acquainted with it sooner rather than later. The first step would be to stop reading and believing your mentally disbalanced media and open your eyes.

Lets forget our past ppl and lets start afresh.we both used to be one before partion.the main problem of poverty and not being as much developed as europe and usa is because of our fight.example in siachin glacier pakistan spends almost 186 million and india spends almost 436 million.u can think how this money could be used in social development.our language culture is alnost same so y fight our biggest enemies are usa and europe.you might have read that india used to be called the golden parrot and the british only came here because of our wealth.i have been to india and its great.we are one.PAKISTAN ZINDABAD-JAI HIND.

As someone fairly recently introduced to Paksitani sites like this, I am surprised by the number of our Indian neighbours hovering in cyberspace ready to share their views. It seems really important to them.

wow..im a karachi’ite, who recently had a chance to visit mumbai. and guess what? i couldnt stay in mumbai longer than two days. my visit was scheduled for a week, and i ran away in two days….it is one CROWDED AND FILTHY city. and trust me, as a pakistani, when it comes to hygiene, my standards are pretty low. i was amazed to see how ppl manage to live in such cramped quarters, literally one on top of another, in which a simple two-bedroom flats sell for more than what it costs to get a 1500 sq yard two-storey house in karachi. yes there r parts of karachi which are crowded and filthy, but NOWHERE does it ever come close to the filth – and filth is a small word – i found in mumbai. the kind of filth that makes u want to throw up. and the mumbai traffic??? omg! in karachi..and karachi’s a HUGE city, with population only slightly less than mumbai btw, it takes 30 mins MAXIMUM to get from one corner of the city to the other (thank u mustafa kamal for that). in mumbai? dont ask. and seriously??? WHO buys gas cylinders??!?! you should get running gas – like in pakistan.

i also found ppl in india to be very mean hearted, not to mention crass. they talk like the “karrantas” we have back home, no class whatsoever….the class that u find cleaning the toilets of the rich. in pakistan, if ppl talk or dress or behave like they do in mumbai, ppl from good families wouldnt be caught dead associating with them.

India is internationaly regarded as more developed than pakistan and many ppl go to india or visit india than they do to pakistan but who do are astonished to see we are developed than india(most indians will disagree with me)and also a metro or subway will open in islamabad but not now as it is not that large and that our roads are much better and safer! Our school such as beacon house city school roots are known as best in the world i see everyday many foreigners who have come here for studies our motorways m1 m2 and m3 are known as one of the best in asia best maintained and most safe because of our non corrupt motorway police then a 7 star hotel is being built in islamabad the centurus i see it everyday it will be completed by next year then a 60 story building will be built in lahore then money has bern given for construction of port tower in karachi which will be more than hundred floors and height of 1947 feet and then a railway line and train system beyween pakistan turkey and iran is under construction like the euro train it will start in karachi then go to istanvul via tehran then gwadar port which will become one of the buisiest port in asia more busy the mumbai then the islamabad airport which will cause problems for delhi as it will be the same size but nearer to western countries and many other projects at the end i want to say i have deep feelings for india as my family was rajput from bhatmer now in india i just want peace cant this happen???

AND…for the record, if the “needy comes to the prosperous”, as you said…how the f do u explain WHY india has a much lower GDP per capita, and higher poverty rate than pakistan and as per the UN, lower standards of living. u make me laugh.

Indian traveller have u ever visited Pakistan I don’t think so and for westerners they visit India and judge that Pakistan could not be better than India and for terrorism we r not terrorists the main terrorists r CIA the truth is that CNN BBC all talk that we r terrorists but have they ever visited us no and the truth is honestly I thought that Indians would be the only ppl who would know we r not terrorists but afsos u also belive in the lie

@ Haris- Don’t worry friends, we Indians will be the only people on your side when everyone else lets go. However, it really hurts when our Pakistani brothers talk disrespectfully about Indians. They forget that they were also Indian at some point of time (British India). So, let us forget all differences, and work together so that our future generations become rich and prosperous. For your comparison, India is one of the top ten countries with Millionaires (in USD terms)

and like a mentioned above, dont point out “similarities” between indians and pakis..we WERE different and we ARE different. we were not the same ppl, we came from a diff part of the world, if we WERE indians, wed look like you. we dont.
